Google Set to Release Wii 'web search' game - Nintendo

japanese video game maker Nintendo revealed that  it had jointly developed a Wii game with US Internet giant Google in which players compete to generate the most search engine results.

The Game Maker Nintendo will release "Ando Kensaku" on April 29 as the first joint project between the two companies, a Nintendo spokesman said.

In the game, which is to be given a Japan-only release for Nintendo's Wii console, players compete by correctly guessing the most popular web search terms, and the word with the most hits wins, the spokesman said.

The game, which will use Google's search engine and allow four players to play together, will sell for 4,900 yen ($52), the spokesman said.

The two companies have no immediate plan to launch more joint projects.

Nintendo DSi XL likely to launch in March

Nintendo is planning to launch the latest updated version of its popular handheld video game , the DSi XL, on March 28 in North America as reported.

The XL will cost approx. $190. It is likely to have two screens like its predecessors, but as the name suggests, the device and screens will be much larger than the currently available versions but the extra screen size will worth it ?we do appreciate the extra room provided and it might come without any comparmises with picture quality .but you'll definitely figure it out when trying to stuff it into an older mode.
The XL is been available in japan for quite sometime .

Nintendo Co. also says it's launching "Super Mario Galaxy 2" for the Wii console on May 23 and "Metroid: Other M" on June 27.
